Bittersweet Memory – RIP Missy

I came across this picture and felt I needed to share a part of our farming history.  Our farm name used to be Rolling Bay Farm Chincoteague Ponies.  I bred and sold a very small number of these wonderful ponies.  And this lovely filly was to be our last.  Very sadly, she broke her ankle at 4 weeks old and the vet had to put her down.  I held her in my arms as she drifted off and cried like a baby.  I can’t help but tear up now as I see this perfect photo of her taken by our neighbor.  Thank you Jonathan Dughi for this bittersweet memory.
