There has been plenty going on at Rolling Bay Farm this month (like our rent-a-boar is here with our sows) and piglet weaning and the crows ate all our Shiro plums and on and on.
But August is also the month that we try to vacation. We camped at Dungeness Spit in Sequim one weekend and we just got back from a glorious week at Lake Chelan. It was perfect! I’m sharing a few non -farm related pictures because they are just so joyful. We went to the Manson farmer’s market and it was refreshing to see so many lovely fresh fruits there. We quite literally ate about 12 pounds of cherries while on vacation and brought home another 10 pounds. Yummy!
