Heritage Turkeys
SOLD OUT for T-Day 2012! This year’s heritage bird is the Narragansett Turkey.
Every summer we get a batch of heritage turkeys to raise until Thanksgiving. Mark and I hand process them all the weekend before T-Day. Our customers get to pick up a fresh bird for their family’s table.
Our customers RAVE about our birds and to date we’ve always sold out months before hand due to the limited numbers that we can produce. The birds range in weight from about 15 lbs to 21 lbs. We always seem to get different heritage breeds so on any given year you may be offered birds like Narragansett, Blue Slate, White Midget, Bronze or other breeds.
Heritage turkeys pricing for 2012 is $4.50/lb and will be available for pick up fresh the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
